Klonbite ยท Local Sourcing ยท Since 2022

The Yukon Farmers & Producers
We've Worked With

Since 2022, we've built our seasonal menu around ingredients and products sourced from Yukon farmers, producers, foragers, and northern food makers whenever possible.

This approach has been recognized by the Fireweed Market, where Klonbite has received the Champion of Local Food Blue Ribbon Award each year from 2022 through 2025.

For us, local food is more than sourcing close to home. It is a way of helping people experience the Yukon through taste โ€” to connect with this land through the ingredients it offers each season.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of working with some remarkable producers across the Yukon.

Our Producers

Chickadee Wagon Farm
Sarah's Harvest
Sunny Side Farm
Yukon Grain Farm
Yukon Berry Farms
Mandalay Farm
Maeva Wild Food
Haines Packing
Alibaba Sundog Farm (2022โ€“2024)
Can Do Farm (2022โ€“2024)

Each season brings its own character.

These ingredients shape our menu naturally, guiding the dishes we create and allowing each season to leave its own mark on what we serve.

That is what local food means to us.
It reflects the land, the climate, and the people who grow, raise, harvest, and craft what the Yukon has to offer.

That is the experience we aim to share through Klonbite each summer in Whitehorse.

When you visit between May and September, what you taste reflects the Yukon as it is in that moment โ€” shaped by light, weather, harvest, and the producers who make local food possible in the North.

Through every dish, our hope is simple: to offer a small but meaningful connection to this place we call home.

Find Klonbite at the Fireweed Market every Thursday, or at 3rd Ave & Steele St from May through September. Follow @klonbite for seasonal updates.
